📣 WHAT DO I NEED?

  • MWA Licence (via RiderNet)
    You must hold a licence appropriate for your class.

  • Motorcycling Australia (MA) Affiliated Club Membership
    Must be purchased via RiderNet.

  • Online entry is via Ridernet
  • Remember, no late entries on the day - all riders must enter ONLINE prior to event.
  • Registrations close Tuesday 16th June at 10.00pm or earlier if classes reach maximum capacity.

Also, in the event a parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of a junior rider ("Minor") is/are unable to accompany the Minor, a DEED OF APPOINTMENT OF TEMPORARY GUARDIAN must be completed by parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and presented at time of registration on race day.  Click HERE to print out a form.

Red apple day charity fundraiser 

The 2026 Bolgart Bash is also our official Charity Support Event, proudly raising funds for Bowel Cancer Australia - a cause that is very close to the hearts of many within our offroad community.​

We're encouraging riders, families and supporters to get behind the cause by participating in our Red Apple Day 🍎 Fundraising Raffle, proudly supported by Honda Australia. ​

 

Throughout the weekend you'll see plenty of red around the venue as we come together to raise awareness and support this important cause.

 

​Ride Red for a Great Cause

 

As part of our 2026 Charity Support Event raising funds for Bowel Cancer Australia, we're encouraging every rider to suit up in their red riding gear and help us create a sea of red across the Bolgart paddock.

 

Every rider will receive a red ribbon to wear throughout the weekend as a symbol of support for those affected by bowel cancer and to help raise awareness for this important cause.

 

From red jerseys and helmets to red ribbons and Red Apple Day fundraising activities, let's come together as an offroad community and show our support for a cause that means so much to many of our members and families.​

Camp for the weekend

Why rush home on the Saturday when the fun continues after the racing?  Make a weekend of it and camp onsite with fellow riders, families and supporters. 

 

Saturday evening will feature a range of fun activities and friendly competition, including:​

  • Prize Giveaways

  • And more!

 

It's the perfect opportunity to relax, catch up with friends, share stories from the day's racing and enjoy everything that makes the offroad community so special.​

​Double Header STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Weekend

Get ready for one of the biggest offroad events on the 2026 calendar!  The Bolgart Bash Non-Stop Cross Country, proudly presented by West Coast Motorcycles.  This year it returns even bigger for an action-packed double-header championship weekend.

Whether you're chasing championship points, looking to kick off your season in style, or simply keen for an incredible weekend of racing, the Bolgart Bash is an event you won't want to miss!

Championship racing

 

The Bolgart Bash forms part of the 2026 WA Offroad State Championship Series, with Junior and Senior State Championship classes open to all current MWA members.

​​

To compete in State Championship classes, riders must hold:​

 

  • Current Motorcycling Australia National Race Licence

  • Current Motorcycling WA Club Membership

Senior Prologue

 

The action starts early for our Senior Championship competitors, with E1, E2, EJ & U23 classes taking part in a Prologue on Saturday afternoon.

The Prologue will help set the stage for Sunday's Senior State Championship round and is sure to provide some exciting viewing for riders and spectators alike.

Junior Sprockets & trail class

 

We're excited to once again offer our popular Junior Non-Competitive Sprocket and Trail Classes on Saturday, 20 June.

 

  • Sprocket Class - riders aged 4-9 years - 50cc - Non-Competitive

  • Trail Class - riders aged 7-16 years - All Bike Capacities - Non-Competitive

This is a fantastic opportunity for younger riders and Junior riders who are new to offroad events to experience the excitement of event day in a supportive, non-competitive environment on their own dedicated tracks while enjoying the same great atmosphere as the State Championship riders.

  • Trail and Sprocket classes will have their own dedicated areas to ride for the day.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 7:30AM-8:30AM

  • Riders Briefing: 8:30AM

  • Riding commences approximately 9:00AMgroups will run in approximately 30–60-minute blocks throughout the day.

  • Sprocket parents to please sign-on at registration in the morning before heading down to the sprocket area with the group.

RACE FORMATs

Saturday, 20 June - Junior Group 1 (JJ, J1)

  • Non-stop Cross Country through light bush and fast open paddocks for approximately 12km, riding the shorter loop.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 7:30AM-8:30AM

  • Riders Briefing: 8:30AM

  • All classes will complete one sighting lap prior to racing commencing.

  • Starts will be in class order, mass start. Start Order: 1 = J1, 2 = JJ

  • Race will run for approximately 1.5 hours, and riders will complete as many laps as time permits. 

 

Saturday, 20 June - Junior Group 2 (J2, JG2, J3, J4)

  • Non-stop Cross Country through light bush and fast open paddocks for approximately 18km.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 10:30AM-11:30AM

  • Riders Briefing: 11:30AM

  • All classes will complete one sighting lap prior to racing commencing.

  • Starts will be in class order, mass start. Start Order: 1 = J4, 2 = J3, 3 = J2, 4 = JG2

  • Race will run for approximately 2 hours, and riders will complete as many laps as time permits. 

Saturday, 20 June - Senior Prologue (E1, E2, EJ, U23)

  • Cross Country Prologue through light bush and fast open paddocks for approximately 12km.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 2:00PM-3:00PM

  • Riders Briefing: 3:00PM

  • All classes (E1/E2/EJ/U23) will complete one sighting lap prior to prologue commencing.

  • Prologue commences after sight lap.

Sunday, 21 June - Senior Group 1 (EM, EV, EW, Clubman, Fossils)

  • Non-stop Cross Country through light bush and fast open paddocks for approximately 18km.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 7:20AM-8:00AM

  • Riders Briefing: 8:00AM

  • All classes will complete one sighting lap prior to racing commencing.

  • Starts will be in class order, mass start. Start Order: 1 = EM, 2 = EV, 3 = EW, 4 = Clubman Open, 5 = Clubman Lights, 6 = Fossils

  • Race will run for approximately 2 hours, and riders will complete as many laps as time permits. 

 

Sunday, 21 June - Senior Group 2 (E1, E2, EJ, U23)

  • Non-stop Cross Country through light bush and fast open paddocks for approximately 18km.

  • Registration & Scrutineering Open: 10:00AM-11:15AM

  • Riders Briefing: 11:15AM

  • All classes will complete one sighting lap prior to racing commencing.

  • Start will be in prologue order, mass start.

       👉 Saturday prologue is optional - if you did not complete Saturday prologue you                 will be placed at the back of the pack in numerical order. 

  • Race will run for approximately 3 hours, and riders will complete as many laps as time permits. 

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ALL RIDERS:

  • A race number will be issued on the day. You must present your bike with a clean front number panel in preparation to display the event issued race number. Event race numbers will be presented at rider sign on. No other racing numbers are to be visible on your machine. 

  • Rider sign-on, please ensure you have the following with you (hard copies or a screenshot will be accepted).

    • Proof of MWA Licence (Must include member number & expiry)

    • Proof of a MA Affiliated Club Membership

  • Transponders will be fitted to bikes during machine examination (note these are a different type to the Mylaps transponders and do not require a transponder bracket).

  • Points to be allocated to competitors as per GCR’s.  Electronic timing will be used.

    • Junior State Championship points will be awarded as per 2026 State Offroad Championship Regulations. 

    • Senior State Championship points will be awarded as per 2026 State Enduro Championship Regulations. 

    • T&E club members will also be awarded points for the 2026 T&E Club Championships.

    • ORCWA club members will be awarded points for the 2026 ORCWA Club Championships.

 

  • Bolgart Bash trophies will be awarded to riders for all competition classes 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

  • All competitors to have a minimum 2kg, dry power A: B (E) class, working fire extinguisher in their pit area.
