Make It a Weekend – Camp at Lake Preston!

Why pack up and head home when the action is just getting started?

Riders, families and spectators are invited to stay overnight and camp at Lake Preston, turning the Enduro X round into a full weekend experience.  Settle in after Saturday’s racing, enjoy the atmosphere of the paddock, the warmth of the campfire and wake up right in the heart of the action.

The weekend doesn’t stop with the juniors and U23 Enduro X either…

On Sunday, the Seniors take on the very same Natural Terrain Enduro X course as part of the Trail & Enduro Club Run.  Watch as the experienced riders battle it out on the same rock gardens, logs, seesaws and sandy MX-style sections - this time pushed even harder and faster.

It’s a unique opportunity to see how the track transforms between classes, and to experience the progression from junior racing on Saturday through to full senior competition on Sunday.

From sunset campfires to Sunday morning race starts, Lake Preston delivers more than just a race day - it’s a full off-road weekend experience.

Charge Into the Challenge! 🐂

Think you've got what it takes to conquer one of the most exciting tracks on the ORCWA calendar?

The Lake Preston Natural Terrain Enduro X is back, bringing an action-packed day of racing for riders up to 23 years of age.  Combining natural terrain with purpose-built obstacles, this event is designed to challenge riders, build confidence and, most importantly, deliver an incredible day on the bike.

Expect everything that makes Enduro X so addictive:

🪨 Technical rock gardens

⚖️ Seesaws to test your balance

🌲 Logs and tyre obstacles

🌾 Fast, flowing sandy sections

🏁 Open motocross-style racing that rewards speed and commitment

The course offers the perfect mix of technical skill and outright fun, with obstacles that encourage riders to push themselves while enjoying every lap.

Trail & Sprockets – Your Own Enduro X Adventure

Our youngest riders won't miss out! Trail and Sprockets have their own dedicated Enduro X track, designed specifically for their age and skill level.

Featuring fun obstacles, flowing sections and plenty of opportunities to build confidence, they'll experience all the excitement of Enduro X in a safe and supportive environment - giving them the same race-day atmosphere as the older riders.

  • Groups will run in approximately 30–60-minute blocks throughout the day.

  • Sprocket parents to please sign-on at registration in the morning before heading down to the sprocket area with the group.

SPEACTATORS DREAM!

One of the best things about the Lake Preston NTEX is that it's just as exciting for spectators as it is for the riders.

Unlike traditional enduro events, where riders disappear into kilometres of bush and only pop back into view at the finish, the NTEX track has been designed so families and supporters can see most of the action throughout the day.

From the mass starts and technical obstacle sections to the fast, sandy motocross-style sectiona, you'll have front-row access to the bar-to-bar racing as riders battle wheel-to-wheel, pick their lines through the rock gardens, tackle logs and tyres, and push for every second.

For parents, it's a rare opportunity to actually watch your kids race. Instead of waiting at the finish line wondering how they're going, you can cheer them on lap after lap and experience the excitement alongside them.

RACE FORMAT

Natural Terrain Enduro Cross is a multi-lap race held on an approximately 2km circuit that follows the natural contours of the land.  The track is clearly marked with bunting and winds through open paddocks and bushland, incorporating a mix of natural terrain and man-made obstacles.
