Welcome to 2020

​

Well the season is almost upon us and I hope you are as excited as I am to see what it will bring. 

 

On the 22nd February the club held the 2020 AGM at Point Heathcote Park Reserve to discuss the closing of 2019 and the opening of 2020.

 

One of the key items for actions was the appointment of the executive committee and subcommittee roles.

 

Before I get into the detail, I would personally like to thank the 2019 committee for their efforts in building and maintaining a great club, specifically the committee members who have vacated their positions in some cases they have been conducting these for the life of the club and others for an inspiring 4 years.

 

A massive thank you from all of the past and present members of ORCWA to Executive Committee members: Shane Ward (President), Grahame Luyten (Vice President), Hannah Lawton (Secretary) for your service. In addition, vacating subcommittee members Narelle Jongen (Race Secretary), Hayley Luyten (Volunteer Coordinator) and Shelly Bayliss (Membership Coordinator), without you our great club would not be what it is today.

 

With new faces in the Executive Committee and subcommittee, fresh ideas and some highly motivated new players, we hope to make a great club greater.

​

2020 will bring back our 6 competitive round, 2 of which inclusive of the junior off road state championship as well as coaching for all levels, family camp outs and a fair bit of healthy fun.

​

Our new committee is focused refined set up and pack up processes, some updated equipment as well as a raft of other great ideas that have been passed on by our members.
